Premise: Lisa told Dean that he was Ben's father, so instead of continuing to travel, Dean settles down and tries to make the most of the time with his family while he has it. While he's spending time with Ben, however, Sam and Ruby continue to try and get Dean out of his deal, and Sam winds up dying in Dean's place. Despite the fact that Dean told Ruby he never wanted to see her again, she had promised Sam that she would look after them, so she found herself another meat suit and became the Winchester baby sitter. Literally.

Ruby, being all Dean had left, was left to keep him from ending himself, which naturally proceeded into sex. (Ruby's got a thing for broken men, apparently.) Now, Sam has come back and she's trying to keep Dean from being a moron and losing his brother all over again.
